  • Attention, Team!

    The FIFA World Cup trophy must be protected before the big match begins!

    Your mission is to build a super strong stadium tower that can safely hold the World Cup trophy high above the field.

    Your structure must:

    Stand on its own

    Be as tall as possible

    Hold the FIFA World Cup trophy for at least 15 seconds

    ⏰ You have only 10 minutes before kickoff!

    Team Materials

    You may only use:

    10 sheets of paper

    12 inches (31 cm) of masking tape

    1 FIFA World Cup trophy (book)

    Scoring

    🏆 5 points for each full inch of height (maximum 80 points)

    🏆 20 bonus points if your structure is at least 12 inches tall

    🏆 10 points if your structure can hold the trophy for 15 seconds

    🏆 Up to 20 points for creativity and teamwork

  • Your mission is to become a team of master artists… but there’s a twist!

    You cannot hold the marker with your hands. Instead, your team must work together to control one giant marker using only strings!

    By pulling, loosening, and communicating carefully, your team must guide the marker across the paper to create a drawing together.

    Only the best teamwork will lead to success!

    ⏰ You will have 10 minutes to complete your team drawing challenge.

    Strings attached to the marker

    Large sheet of paper

    Mission Rules

    Every team member must hold and control a string

    No one may touch the marker directly

    Teams must communicate and cooperate at all times

    Work together to complete the drawing challenge

    Scoring

    ⭐ 20 points for teamwork and communication

    ⭐ 20 points for completing the drawing challenge

    ⭐ 20 points for creativity and artistic design

    ⭐ 20 points for focus, patience, and collaboration

    ⭐ 20 points for problem-solving and strategy

  • A secret iPad has been locked, and only the best agents can discover the password to unlock it!

    Your mission is to reveal 5 hidden Morse code messages written with a special invisible solution. Using science and teamwork, you must uncover the secret words, translate the Morse code, and figure out the correct password.

    Once your team discovers the password, you can try to unlock the iPad and read the final special message!

    ⏰ You have only 10 minutes to complete the mission before the system locks forever!

  • 🚨 Scientists need your help! 🚨

    A hungry geometric monster has escaped from the STEAM Lab… and it needs to reach its dinner before it loses all its energy!

    Your mission is to design and build your very own geometric monster using 3D shapes and engineering skills. Then, create a propulsion system with circuits and moving parts so your monster can travel to its food!

    Your monster must:

    Include geometric shapes

    Move using a motor-powered propulsion system

    Travel toward its dinner

    Be creative and unique

    ⏰ You have only 12 minutes to complete the challenge!

    You may use:

    Motor

    3D geometric shape templates

    Alligator (caiman) cables

    Tape

    Googly eyes

    AA battery holder

    AA battery

    Paddle

    Silicone sticks

    Wood sticks

    Rubber wheels

    Scoring

    ⭐ 20 points if the monster moves successfully

    ⭐ 20 points if the propulsion system works correctly

    ⭐ 20 points for completing and using geometric shapes

    ⭐ 20 points for creativity and monster design

    ⭐ 20 points if the monster reaches its dinner

  • The stars are out there! 🌌

    Your final optional challenge is to explore the night sky and identify some of the groups of stars we call constellations.

    Many constellations were discovered in ancient times, and their names and shapes often require imagination, observation, and focus to recognize.

    See how many of the following constellations you and your family can find tonight:
