Family Missions Instructions

  • 1. Before you begin, talk about: What makes us special? What values represent us? What do we enjoy doing together? What are our family strengths?

    2. Design your crest: Start with a light pencil sketch. A crest is a shield, like those used by soccer teams or countries.

    Divide your canvas and include: values, strengths, traditions, dreams, and meaningful symbols.

    3. Create together: Paint, draw, and decorate freely as a family.

    4. Add a motto: Think of a short phrase that represents your family and include it in your design.

    Take it home! Place your family crest somewhere visible to remind you of what makes your family unique.

  • 1.Talk about: What are some of our happiest moments together? What do we love about our family? What moments would we like to remember forever?

    2. Build, decorate and personalize your memory box: Start by assembling your box. Use the materials to decorate and personalize it. Work together as a family.

    3. Fill it with meaning: Write or draw your favorite moments or experiences you want to remember. Each family member must create at least one memory. Place all your memories inside the box.

    4. Keep it growing: Take your box home and continue adding memories over time.

    Take it home! Open your box whenever you want to reconnect with your family’s special moments.

  • 1. Talk about: Every family is different—just like trees. There are fruit trees, pine trees, palm trees, and more. What kind of tree do you think your family is, and why?

    2. Draw your tree: Using a pencil or fine marker, draw your tree: trunk, branches, and roots.

    3. Add your leaves and fruits: On the branches, write or draw things you enjoy doing together, your goals or dreams, what makes your family strong, and your values.

    4. Strengthen your roots: On the roots, write at least 1 commitment per family member—small actions that will help your family grow stronger.

    5. Bring it to life: Paint your tree using watercolors. Add details to make it unique.

    6. Name your tree: Give your tree your family name.

    Take it home! Keep your tree in a special place as a reminder of what helps your family grow.

  • 1. Get ready to move! This is your moment to have fun, be active, and work as a team.

    2. Complete the challenges: As a family, complete all 3 challenges:

    - The Floor is Lava: cross from one side to the other using only the foam pads—don’t touch the floor!

    - No Hands Pass: pass the ball between all family members without dropping it and without using your hands.

    - Blind Builder: one person is blindfolded while the others guide them to build a tower.

    3. Work as a team: Communicate, support each other, and stay connected.

    4. Have fun! There’s no competition—just enjoy the experience together.
